Visually appealing black and white film for Prada shot by one of my favourite directors, Yang Fudong.

Seven artists, seven designers, seven rooms, seven live photo shoots

I recently attended the very very packed house of the 700 photos exhibition where they showcased 7 artists in seven rooms doing their own design, piece, inspiration inside Sydney’s awesome Darlo Bar in Darlinghurst. I had my Nikon FE2 film SLR camera with B&W film which I used to shoot most of the night, however yet to be developed. I took out my little digital point and shoot and captured some live art in action.

Wow, I’ve just watched Through a Glass Darkly, a 1961 Swedish film directed by Ingmar Bergman. It’s a slow burner that draws you into the involving theme of mental illness around a family so estranged from each other that they don’t know how to express their feelings. Definite recommend and to think this movie was made in 1961! This is one of my favourite scenes from Through a Glass Darkly (apologies for no subtitles):
