Visually appealing black and white film for Prada shot by one of my favourite directors, Yang Fudong.
My latest collection of street style from various street style websites. Although, I’m seeing quite a pattern with loving the Stockholm style at the moment.

Love: jeans and demin shirt/jacket

Who says you have to overdo fashion?

Love the shoes, seems to be quite a popular style at the moment with the shoes appearing again (or similar) in another pic in this post.

Yes, the dress is fabulous.

We have the same shoes again or similar.

Love the dress/top.
My wardrobe is looking oh so daggy as I have not had an urging to go out and buy something, coupled with the fact that I’m busy trying to save and giving back to the economy by repaying my credit card debt. So rather than imagine myself in a dress that cost thousands of dollars, I thought I would look to street style to get some inspiration. During my weekly 9-5 job, I’m a total mess. You know the girl that hops onto the bus and looks like she hasn’t had enough sleep, could use more make up, hasn’t blended their mineral foundation evenly across her face, needs a good comb through her hair, and really really needs to get all that white crap that keeps sticking to her coat. Yeh well that’s me.

I love everything here, especially the jacket. Not too sure about the shoes..

She’s a model, of course shes going to look good in everything! Love the sheer top with the leopard corset underneath. The boots give it a tough girl edge. Not too keen on the blue bag. I’m a monotone sort of girl. No freaky colours thanks.

Love everything about this outfit. Even the clutch matches the wall. Scored!

Yeh I know, I can’t wait for Summer to show how white and how unshaven my legs are! Love the cute little blue vest, breaks up the outfit.

Best things about this outfit is the scarve, the tee and those shoes. I would choose a different bag.

You definitely need to be holding a cigarette with this outfit as an accessory to pull this off. Love the cuff rolls of the jacket. The tailored jacket holds this together. Also adore the little belt. I don’t do hats unfortunately. Looks great on her, I doubt it wont on me.

Mmm, I must have a slight fascination with girls holding a cigarette and wearing an awesome black jacket.

Great colours, they work well together. Sunglasses are to die for.

Love the sandals.

This gives me inspiration to go through my boyfriend’s wardrobe. Love the cargo jacket. What ever happened to cargo?

I’m a fan of the shorts. Hurry up Summer!
I just love this photos of Scarlett Johansson because they portray Scarlet in a different light – rather than the sexed up temptress. A couple of days ago I had a dream that she was my flatmate and we got along like fire. She was down to earth, and all she wanted to do was have fun and play dress ups. Weird, I wonder if she is like that in person.

Here a few of my favourite American Apparel ads throughout the years. There’s always something fresh and cheeky about these ads. I also love the fact that they use real women rather than perfect models. The beauty is in the imperfection. Enjoy! Check some more out here.

I did my friend Amanda a favour by playing the part of a ‘photographer’ for her jewellery shoot. Her jewellery line is at the moment labelled ’8 Days A Week’ but I hear that she’s having a bit of a headache settling on a name. I like 8 days a week, because frankly, I could use that extra day – only if it was a weekend!
Shot in John’s place, around the corner from mine in Newtown, and situated in a wide, tree lined street, and involving three of Amanda’s beautiful friends, Sarah and I had a ball for most of the afternoon. Not to mention the after effects of clutching and pressing a button for 3+ hours straight.
8 Days A Week is homegrown, judging by the fact that Amanda was up all night trying to finish the pieces for the shoot. Sewed and crafted by hand, the pieces unique and individual in character. Amanda’s got a great eye for beautiful silk fabrics and patterns. She tells me that these pieces are only a reflection of her girly mood at the moment and that she’s usually a jigsaw piece jewellery wearing kind of girl. My favourites would have to be the floral headpieces.
8 Days a Week is a growing hobby for Amanda, and she’s hoping to at least get some financial benefits from her hobby. She recalls an experience at the market where she spent 2 years on her collection and all of them went in a couple of hours – most she blames on her low price point. Learning from that experience, Amanda wants to sell the 8 Days A Week at an accessible price point but yet still reflect the passion and hours that she puts into every piece.

I first saw the gorgeous, uber-cool Daisy Lowe on the cover of ID in a slightly loved up, naked photo shoot with her then boyfriend and I was hooked!
I bet these shots will totally make you understood why:

I am not one to follow labels, or buy garments because its from a label. But a few weeks ago while working at a retail store in Paddington, a customer came in and tried on a dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes she just bought on sale at David Jones. I fell instantly in love with them, and they left a last impression on me that I had to post about it, and have some pictures that I can at least ease a bit of my jealousy off.
One of the girls that I used to work with at the retail store, was a buyer in her Norwegian homeland. She said that she used to literally get pairs of expensive shoes given to her so that she would stock those brands at the shop. Well anyways, she accumulated hundreds of shoes and when she moved to Australia, she ended up giving lucious pairs of Jimmy Choos to her friends. Oh what an indulgence!
If shoes could kill…I think this picture does not do justice to how these look amazingly in real life.
The zip is the best part of the shoes…I have an infatuation with zips
Other than that shoe, I really do not have an obsession with the other shows spotted on the Jimmy Choo website.
